    Blake McMahan
Founder & CEO, CROinPortions | Revenue Systems Strategist

Blake McMahan is the founder of CROinPortions, a Revenue Systems firm helping organizations from startup through $100M+ grow more predictably through enterprise revenue frameworks, quantitative rigor and AI-driven analysis.
His background includes financial modeling at GE Aerospace, quantitative investment management, participation in a fintech company’s journey to a billion-dollar exit, and more than 25 years of enterprise revenue leadership with HP, Kodak and Reuters. Today, he advises founders and executives on growth, go-to-market strategy, Revenue Systems and applied AI.

Blake will lead the revenue side of the workshop, examining what gets a manufacturer onto a buyer’s list, what happens between quote and shipment, where margin can be lost, and where AI already fits into the revenue system.

  • Daniel J. Salazar
Managing Director, Florida Market Executive, Commercial Banking, J.P. Morgan

Daniel J. Salazar is scheduled to provide the commercial banking perspective on funding manufacturing growth, including credit, liquidity, working capital and how growth decisions are evaluated from the capital side of the table.

Every manufacturer eventually faces the same decision: take the bigger order, add the line, buy the equipment, or pass.

But growth is rarely just an operations decision. Can the opportunity be funded? Is it priced correctly? Will the company actually keep the margin it expects? Is the revenue system underneath the business ready to support the next stage of growth?

The Growth Decision is an interactive SFMA workshop designed to put those questions on the table at the same time. Participants will examine the capital side and the revenue side of growth together, including the increasingly important role AI already plays in buyer decisions, quoting, pricing and the software manufacturers use every day.

This is not a growth-at-all-costs session. Manufacturers are operating in an environment where input costs can rise faster than selling prices, putting additional pressure on margins even as new opportunities emerge. The workshop is designed to help manufacturers pursue growth without losing sight of the economics behind it.

What You’ll Work Through

During this hands-on session, attendees will:

  • Complete an eight-question revenue diagnostic using their own business as the reference point and identify which of three areas deserves attention first; examine financing, credit, liquidity and working-capital considerations connected to manufacturing growth; work through illustrative manufacturing scenarios at approximately $5 million, $20 million and $50 million in revenue; explore where AI is already influencing supplier selection, quoting, pricing and internal systems; and leave with one practical action to execute after the workshop.
