South Florida manufacturers manage far more than production. They must also navigate business succession, energy costs, supplier compliance, cybersecurity, workforce leadership, business travel and operational growth. SFMA’s Summer Manufacturing Series gives manufacturers practical opportunities to address these challenges through seven focused events.

South Florida Manufacturers Association, the largest manufacturing networking organization in South Florida, is hosting a Summer Manufacturing Series, featuring seven events that address different sources of enterprise value and risk, while the full series shows how modern manufacturers can prepare for the season ahead.

Here is a breakdown of each of these events:

Your Business Is Not Sellable: How to Build a Transferable Manufacturing Asset— July 29 (SFMA Members Only)

If an offer arrived tomorrow, would your business be worth what its owner believes? Frank Saragossi, Founder & CEO of Build2Transfer, and Mark Jones, Director of AI Consulting at Brdgit and The Silverlogic, will explain how owner dependence can trap value inside the founder’s daily presence and decision-making. At this session, owners can learn how to change this and turn their factories into high-value assets.

Learning as a South Florida Manufacturing Community

Business owners, especially in fields like manufacturing, often feel that they need to navigate challenges on their own. We are often taught that being independent and toughing it out builds character and resilience. However, when we work together as a community, individual businesses can grow stronger and more adaptable to what lies ahead.

Six Summer Manufacturing Series events are exclusively available to SFMA members. Only the August 20 House of Travel event is open to members and non-members. To join South Florida’s largest manufacturing networking group, click here.
