The South Florida Manufacturer Association’s (SFMA) is pleased to announce that nominations for the 2026 Manufacturer of the Year Awards are now open. This award celebrates and honors excellence from an operational excellence standpoint. The Manufacturer of the Year Awards are modeled on performance excellence and are judged based on the following six criterion: Innovation, Leadership, Customer and Market Focus, Continuous Improvement, Strategic Planning, and Operational Excellence.

Take this opportunity to recognize one or more high-performing manufacturing companies by nominating to the SFMA’s Award process. Nominations are easy to complete with no write-ups needed! Simply fill out the form below to make your official nomination. The deadline to submit a nomination is Friday, December 5, 2025. The award ceremony will be held on Thursday, June 25, 2026 at the Charles F. Dodge City Center in Pembroke Pines, FL.

Who is Eligible to be Nominated?

• • Any manufacturer located in Miami-Dade, Broward, Palm Beach, Indian River, Okeechobee, Martin, or St Lucie counties.
    • Manufacturing operations must take place in at least one of the following Florida counties: Miami-Dade, Broward, Palm Beach, Indian River, Okeechobee, Martin, or St Lucie counties.
    • The nominee DOES NOT have to be a member of a regional manufacturing association to be eligible.

Who is Eligible to Make a Nomination?

• Any organization (e.g., industry group, chamber, supplier, customer, workforce or economic development organization, government organization, individuals, other manufacturers, etc..) can make any number of nominations.
• Self-nominations by a manufacturing company are also accepted as long as they meet the above listed criteria.
