The South Florida Manufacturer Association’s (SFMA) is pleased to announce that nominations for the 2025 Manufacturer of the Year Award are now open. This award celebrates and honors excellence from an operational excellence standpoint. The Manufacturer of the Year Awards are modeled on performance excellence and are judged based on the following six criterion: Innovation, Leadership, Customer and Market Focus, Continuous Improvement, Strategic Planning, and Operational Excellence.

Take this opportunity to recognize one or more high-performing manufacturing companies by nominating to the SFMA’s Award process. Nominations are easy to complete! No write-ups are needed and simply fill out the form below to make your official nomination. The deadline to submit a nomination is Tuesday, December 3, 2024. The award ceremony will be held in June 2025.

Who is Eligible to be Nominated?

• • Any manufacturing company that has their manufacturing operations located in Miami-Dade, Broward, Palm Beach, Indian River, Okeechobee, Martin, or St Lucie counties.
  • It is not necessary for a company to be a member of a regional manufacturing association to be eligible.
  • Prior Winners: Prior winners are eligible as long as they were not a winner of either the 2023 or 2024 Award

2023 Winners:

• • Trimteck: 1 – 30 employees (Broward County)
  • Kimre: 31 – 65 employees (Miami-Dade County)
  • Century Metals & Supplies: 66 – 120 employees (Miami-Dade County)
  • Decimal Engineering: 121 and above employees (Broward County)
    

2024 Winners:

• • The Micro Giants (1-20 Employees): Fortress Marine Anchors (Broward County)
  • The Breakthroughs (21-75 Employees): CMN Steel Fabricators (Miami-Dade County)
  • The Maverick (76-130 Employees): Slate Solutions (Broward County)
  • The Trailblazers (131-199 Employees): Hog Technologies (Martin County)
  • The Titans (200+ Employees): HOERBIGER Corp of America (Broward County)
    

Who is Eligible to Make a Nomination?

• Any organization (e.g., industry group, chamber, supplier, customer, workforce or economic development organization, government organization, individuals, other manufacturers, etc..) can make one or more nomination.
• Self-nominations by a manufacturing company are also accepted as long as they meet the above listed eligibility.
